Media Workshop
Wednesday March 12, 2008 6 - 8 p.m.
Joseph Caleb Center
5400 N.W. 22nd Avenue, Miami
The South Florida Black Journalists Association invites community-based nonprofit groups, entrepreneurs and activists to a media workshop on March 12, 2008 at the Joseph Caleb Center, 5400 N.W. 22nd Avenue, Miami. Our goal is to teach you how to access local media.
Come learn how to ensure your stories get aired on TV, radio, in print and online.
Top industry professionals will provide information on how to propose stories and how to raise questions about coverage in an appropriate manner.
Attendees will also benefit from the contacts with journalists, PR professionals and producers.
Media professionals will gain from direct contact with Florida’s diverse communities, learning more about the issues on the minds of people on the grass root level, as opposed to official sources and politicians.
Our workshops are great opportunities to take your cause to the next level, so please spread the word and we’ll see you there.
